because stormie was born... {hawaii adoption blog}

because stormie was born addicted, as a newborn she was easily overstimulated. bright lights, loud noises, and even eye contact would set her on a rampage.

the thing she hated most - loud music. at church during worship time, she'd throw herself back and start screaming. One service in particular, she was having a fit and Pastor Camille had come up to me and said...*dont worry about her. she's gonna grow up and become a worship leader* as much as i wanted to believe her, i couldn't.

everyday stormie proves me wrong and shatters the LIMITS I PUT ON HER. i believe she will be a worship leader...she already leads our family worship time.

  2. You amaze me. Your heart, attitude and openness are truly a blessing to others and that shows in your beautiful girl. She is going to rock the house for the Lord one day for sure and change some lives in the process!

  3. Yeah, that was cool. -- PS 8:2 From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.

  9. That is adorable. Kids have so much strength, really. (not that this gives adults any excuse, but it's good to see that they can live through some of our mistakes.)

  11. This brought tears to my eyes. So many times I wonder what God has planned for X. I often pray for God to cover over any of her past. Yet sometimes I'm scared. This post reminded me not to be fearful...He has control and has a beautiful life just for her planned! Thank you!
